Cost for Printing and Circulating

.

As an Open Access journal, IJBS need to collect financial support to produce better edited, formatted and higher quality peer-reviewed scientific articles, make these articles possible to be read and cited through websites or printed and circulated in professional society.  The cost we previously charged was for journal development only. Our new charge for the publication cost will be $950 (USD) for manuscript without color print and less than 10 pages of final print and $1500 for those there are color print and over 10 pages of final print. We agree the other Open Access journal comments that “Publication fees of $2000 or $2500 are a small fraction of the costs of doing research. This is the last in a long series of steps to complete research work, and it makes sense for funding agencies to include these fees in research grants.” However, IJBS can waive a certain percentage of the publication costs for authors who submit high quality papers but with insufficient funds. The chief editor, who makes decision to accept papers, will not know the ability for any given author to pay.

Reprints order form and price list will be sent to the author with the page proofs. The reprint request should be emailed to the publisher. The cost of reprint is $7 USD for each copy for 10 to 50 reprints order and $5 USD for each copy if over 50. Normally it will take 10 to 12 weeks to receive the reprints after the order start to process.
